The design of the door operator's cable reel is a sophisticated fusion of mechanics and electrical engineering:
Spoke Frame: The red steel structure, resembling a "steel hub," is welded from Q235 B steel, offering high strength and light weight. The spoke design distributes stress, ensuring stable operation even when carrying hundreds of meters of cable.
Center Drum: The cable "storage compartment" features a non-slip surface treatment (such as knurling) to prevent slipping. The drum diameter matches the cable's bend radius (e.g., a 35 mm cable corresponds to a drum diameter of ≥350 mm) to prevent cable breakage.
Drive System: A torque motor or hydraulic motor provides constant tension. As the door operator moves, the reel automatically retracts and unretracts the cable, synchronized with the operator (with an error of ≤0.5 m/min), ensuring the cable is always held at the correct tension.
