The cable reel's design is a sophisticated fusion of mechanics and electrical engineering:
Reel Body: The steel reel, like an "energy reel," features a non-slip surface treatment (such as knurling) to prevent cable slippage. The reel diameter strictly matches the cable's bend radius (e.g., a 35 mm cable corresponds to a reel diameter ≥ 350 mm) to prevent cable breakage.
Drive System: The motor + reduction gearbox form the "power heart," providing constant tension. As the crane moves, the reel automatically retracts and unretracts the cable, with the retraction and unretraction speed synchronized with the crane (with an error of ≤0.5 m/min), ensuring the cable is always properly tensioned.
