Wind and Slip Protection: Automatically clamps in winds of force 6-7 (wind speed ≥ 13.9 m/s) and remains locked in winds of force 12 (wind speed ≥ 32.7 m/s). A gantry crane at a port once withstood force 14 gusts during a typhoon with the help of a rail clamp, maintaining zero equipment movement.
