Truss Gantry Crane for Shipbuilding
Classification:
Product Introduction
In the shipyard scenario, Truss gantry crane is one of the core lifting equipment, mainly used for heavy operations such as hull segment lifting, steel transfer, equipment installation (such as engines, propellers), etc. Due to the characteristics of shipyards such as large lifting weight, wide operating span, and harsh environment (salt spray, sea breeze, welding sparks).

Technical Parameters:
| Lifting Capacity | 50-600 tons |
| Lifting Height | 10-30 m |
| Span Range | 15-80 m |
| Work Duty | A 7-A 8 |
Typical application scenarios of Truss gantry cranes in shipyards
Ship segment lifting
Lifting hull modules (weight up to 50-500 tons) and completing splicing in the slipway or dry dock requires gantry cranes with large lifting capacity and precise positioning capabilities (such as docking error ≤5mm).
Transfer of steel and raw materials
Carrying steel plates (thickness 10-100mm), steel sections, pipes and other shipbuilding raw materials, back and forth between the pre-treatment workshop and the processing area, the span usually covers the entire raw material storage yard (30-60 meters is common).
Auxiliary outfitting operations
Lifting superstructures and deck equipment (such as cranes and radars) requires coordination with hull posture adjustment. Some gantry cranes are equipped with main and auxiliary hooks (main hook lifting weight, auxiliary hook fine-tuning).
Outdoor dock operations
Lifting ship accessories or small equipment at the shipyard dock requires resistance to strong sea winds (wind speeds often reach 10-12 levels), and wind resistance and stability are key.
