Amid the steel-rich factory floor, the crane's end beam wheel-set is the core that silently supports the movement of heavy loads. This orange-red wheel system, pictured, holds the technical code that allows the 100-ton machine to "fly close to the ground."
Wheels: Forged steel base, durability is paramount.
✅ Strong material: The wheel body is forged from 42 CrMo forged steel, and the tread is quenched (hardness HRC 55-60). The wear life exceeds 100,000 cycles (twice that of ordinary cast steel wheels).
✅ Anti-slip: The double-flange design (flange height ≥ 20 mm) forms a "bite lock" with the track, reducing the probability of rail gnawing to less than 1%, and maintains stable operation even with a 5° eccentric load.
✅ Wide compatibility: Wheel diameters range from Φ300 to 800 mm, with a single wheel load capacity of 5 to 50 tons, making it a perfect match for heavy-duty tracks such as QU 80/QU 120.
